The Uma Crossbody Bag is handcrafted from repurposed denim and surplus jacquard, combining contemporary design with conscious craftsmanship.
Lined in durable cotton drill, it features a secure zip closure and a detachable denim strap, allowing it to be worn crossbody or carried as a clutch.
Each piece is part of the STELAR x FANFARE LABEL collaboration, celebrating circular design, community craftsmanship, and sustainable fashion made in Indonesia.
Each bag carries a unique code that connects you to the artisan who handcrafted it, supporting the regeneration of heritage skills in the communities they originate from.

Repurposed denim: natural fading may occur over time. Avoid rubbing against light-coloured clothing to prevent colour transfer. For light marks, use a damp cloth with a drop of mild soap—no soaking or machine wash.
Surplus jacquard: keep away from sharp objects or rough surfaces to protect the woven pattern. To refresh the textile, use a lint roller or soft brush.
Cotton drill lining: shake out dust regularly; if stained, blot gently with a cold damp cloth and allow to air-dry.
Zipper & hardware: avoid contact with sand or moisture; if the zipper becomes stiff, wipe along the teeth with a dry cloth. Polish the hardware lightly with a microfiber cloth to restore shine.
Store lightly filled, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid direct sunlight to preserve colour and fibre quality.

Exchanges
We are happy to exchange full priced items for alternative colours or styles based on stock availability.
In order to be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging with all the labels intact and still attached to the item.
Sale or sample sale items cannot be exchanged.
Shipping will be charged for items that were not faulty or wrongly delivered.
